Dubai bites 2018- Japanese themed أكلات دبي ٢٠١٨-يوم ياباني

After a long beach day and we decided this time to go Japanese-themed with some really good sushi. We went to Miyabi sushi and bento located in La Mer beach Dubai. We started with their Spinach Sarade salad. Thinking it's going to be a fresh salad, this was definitely unexpected. This was a warm spinach salad with grape tomatoes and a peanut/sesame dressing. Unusual but good.

بعد يوم طويل على البحر، قررنا على الياباني ورحنا ناكل سوشي زاكي. كان المطعم ميابي سوشي الموجود ب"لا مير بيتش" بدبي. بلشنا بسلطة السبانخ سردي. كنا مفكرين إنها سلطة باردة ومنعشة بس الواقع كان مختلف جداً. كانت سلطة "ساخنة" بالسبانخ وبندورة كرزية مع تتبيلة فستق/سمسم. غير المتوقع بس كانت زاكية وغريبة.

We had three of their signature rolls:

Dynamite Roll with cream cheese, asparagus, and salmon. I wouldn't say this was impressive.

Double Crunch Roll with shrimp tempura: this was really good; crunchy, fresh, and packed with flavor.

Crunch California Roll topped with tons of crab stick, this was definitely my favorite! Fresh, light, and bursting with flavor.   

جربنا تلاتة من رولز السوشي المميز فيهم ميابي:

داينامايت رول مع الجبنة الكريمية، الهليون، والسلمون. يمكن هاد الرول ما كان الأفضل.

الدبل كرنش رول مع تمبورا الجمبري: كانت كتير زاكية؛ فيها قرمشة، منعشة، وكتير فيها نكهات.

كرنش كاليفورنيا رول مغطية بشرائح السلطعون (الكراب)، وهاي أكيد كانت المفضلة عندي! خفيفة، منعشة، والنكهات فيها مش طبيعية!

This was a quick, filling sushi bite and Miyabi is definitely the place for high-quality, unusual sushi after a long beach day. When wanted to keep the Japanese theme so we tried the Mochi icecream from M'oishi kiosk.  Japenese sweets are the best in my opinion- they know exactly how sweet I like desserts-not too sweet. I heard a lot about this icecream and M'oishi is one of the best in Dubai. So we had the  pistachio, vanilla, pomegranate, and strawberry flavours. This was no ordinary icecream. Flavored jello (that's what I thought but it is actually pounded sticky rice -mochi-) on the outside, and high-quality icecream on the inside! Small, light, and the best way to cool down in hot weather.

كانت هاي أكلة سوشي سريعة وبتشبع وميابي هو المكان لسوشي بجودة ممتازة وأطعام غريبة. قررنا نكمل بالياباني فجربنا بوظة الموتشي من كشك مايوشي. الحلويات اليابانية هي الأفضل بالنسبة إلي- لأنهم بعرفوا بالزبط الحلاوة إلي بفضلها- حلاوة خفيفة. سمعت كتير عن هاي البوظة اليابانية وكمان إنو مايوشي هو الأفضل بدبي لهاد النوع من البوظة. فجربنا طعم الفستق الحلبي، الفانيلا، الرمان، والفراولة.

وأكيد هأي ما كانت بوظة عادية. طبقة من الجلو بطعم البوظة (إلي فكرنا جلو بس هو الموتشي-أرز معجون) من برا، وبوظة خرافية من جوا. صغيرة، خفيفة، وممتازة لتبرد مع جو دبي.
